modern-cab-w-logo.jpgWhen we first designed the ZeroEdge aquarium we really did not spend much time on the stands. We always remember details like good door access, a hole for the electric, and venting…
but the stands were a bit heavy looking on the bottom.
Our new stands offer a range of woods like cherry, maple, and oak.
They are finished on the interior and include heavy duty adjustable legs for leveling.
Models and pricing will be available soon on our web site.

IMAC has come and gone, but the show is not forgotten. ZeroEdge had 5 tanks on display at 4 different booths. PFO showed their new Solaris H4 over our small rectangle 22ZR. We had another of the small rectangles on display at the reefs.org booth along with the 24″ Solars and Euro-Reef RS80 which is the prize for the raffle that is currently going on at reefs.org. If you are unfamiliar with this or haven’t bought tickets yet, please vist the raffle page at reefs.org to enter. This is not something you want to miss!!!
We introduced our 3-sided series at IMAC and it got quite a response. We’re very pleased with the intial feedback. Euro-Reef had one on display. IceCap provided their beautiful pendants and an absolutely amazing lamp was used. This was the first time that I had seen the Iwasaki 250w DE 14k lamp and I must say it is quite spectacular. The color is beautiful (a little bluer than a 10K), the output is amazing!! This lamp is going to be a HUGE seller.
Finally, at the ZeroEdge booth, we had a 3 sided tank that has a foot print of 48 x 24 so that it will fit in any stock stand that is currentlly on the market. The water flows over 3 sides and the back side is kept dry. This allows for the use of powerheads or other equipment that needs to be mounted on the tank itself. For this tank we were using the Vortech pump.
We will be posting pictures of all the tanks and booths shortly. Check back to see them.

At IMAC - Chicago (June 1-3) Anthony Calfo gave me a copy of his first 3 journals. They came in very handy on Monday for my return flight. I had stayed over for a ZeroEdge corporate meeting. It rained all day and of course delayed my flight. I arrived at the airport knowing that the flight was delayed for 45 minutes. No biggie, I sat in the waiting area doing email on my Treo. Then the flight was delayed again and again, so instead of waiting an additional 30 minutes, I got to wait for about 3 hours. The battery on my Treo was dying from using it so much so I pulled out the C Journals and started reading, every one cover to cover!! What a delight!!!! Anthony has a way with words and is a superb editor. I’m still laughing about his flight from Pittsburgh to LA (Tonga trip) and the occupants of 5A and 5B. It’s all about stamina I guess. I don’t think I could have restrained myself like this guy did. I was laughing out loud when I read it, so much so that people were looking at me strangely. The flight finally arrived and I boarded the plan for New Jersey. I was lucky enough (NOT!) to sit next to a mother and her 1 1/2 year old baby girl. The baby was getting a little restless so i pulled out one of the C Journals and showed her the pictures. They were bright and colorful, enough to keep her attention until we landed in Newark. What a lifesaver!! if you haven’t had the chance to read his magazine, get a copy! They are sold individually by online retailers such as Premium Aquatics and Marine Depot. You can also subscribe to them by visiting his website at http://www.readingtrees.com/calfojournal.html

Deceptive
I first was skeptical about the ZeroEdge because of price. I went and traveled an hour to a reef store near me not knowing they carried the ZeroEdge line.I went there in search to buy new corals and possibly fish and ended up finding something I didnt plan on, A ZeroEdge aquarium. It wasnt like your typical tank.It was quiet well designed and actually quite pleasing to the eye.You see absolutely no edge on the tank at all. No salt build ups just crystal clear all around. I seen the 30G Hex tank.I wasnt planning on purchasing before I seen it in person like I said, because of the price. When you look at art you dont look at the price tag you look at the design and what the piece represents. The ZeroEdge represents well thought design with elegance. Why own a Chevy if you can buy a Mercedes? The ZeroEdge is the Mercedes of aquariums.I will definately be buying one in the near future.
